synthetic fragrances are killing you

Read labels:  If it says, ‘FRAGRANCE’ steer clear.  

Did you know that Artificial Scents aka “Fragrances” are highly toxic?

Ok, so you don’t really have to do anything.  However, I highly recommend that you do this.  And when you do, you will be saving your body from a toxic load.  

Let’s just take a moment to honor our LIVER’S.  Your liver fights for you day in and day out.  It never gives up on you.  No matter what you put in, breath in, absorb in, etc.  It does it’s best to grab the toxins and flush them out, if it can, or store them deep in the liver so that you can stay safe.  Until, it just can’t anymore.  When it is totally overloaded and maxed out then you will start to get symptoms like headaches, acne, auto-immune disease, depression, weight gain, joint pain, dementia, brain fog, the list goes on.  

Maybe you are in your 20’s when it happens or more likely your 50’s.  

If you are in your 40’s or 50’s you will likely blame it on old age or menopause.  You will think your weak bones are a natural part of aging.  Or that cancer is just bad luck.  Maybe you will be told it is all in your head, when no one can help your symptoms.  

Have no doubt your liver takes care of you.  And any act of kindness you show to it, helps it take better care of you.  Eliminate Fragrance and you will be saving yourself and your liver.  

Artificial scents are toxic.  Your liver has to try to pack them all away to help you out.  So please, give your liver some loving and remove artificial scents from your life.  

Consequently, you will thrive.  Your liver can use its energy to support you in other ways.  Your blood will be more clear.  Your lungs will thank you and your brain will have more clarity.  

Here is what to watch out for: 

  1. Scented laundry detergents – go free and clear
  2. Scented candles – buy ones with essential oils and beeswax or soy instead of petroleum and artificial scents
  3. Scents in skin care products – find all natural brands that are plant based
  4. Car fumes – turn your care off if anyone is near the rear of your car, or you are sitting still (this is one of the biggest polluters of air)
  5. Avoid plug in scented things
  6. Soaps with scents including dish soap
  7. Dryer sheets -unless all natural with essential oils
  8. Perfumes and Colognes
  9. Lotions and Baby Lotions
  10. Anything labeled with, “FRAGRANCE”

Here is why to steer clear of Fragrance: 

There is a great article by the Huffington post on the science behind “Fragrance” and what is going on there.  Essentially these chemicals are on the EPA’s hazardous waste list, yet the government aims to protect big corporations and has not banned these yet.  

They say, 

“More than 95 percent of the chemicals in synthetic fragrances are derived from petrochemicals. These chemicals include: benzene derivatives, aldehydes, phthalates, and a slew of other known toxins that are capable of causing cancer, birth defects, nervous-system disorders and allergies—some of which are cited on the EPA’s hazardous waste list.”

They go on to say, 

Environmental Working Group (EWG) researchers found more than 75 percent of products listing the ingredient “fragrance” contained phthalates (THAL-ates) which have been shown to disrupt hormone activity, reduce sperm counts, and cause reproductive malformation, and have been linked to liver and breast cancer, diabetes, and obesity.” …

One man who used artificial plug in scents who died received an autopsie where they cut open his lungs.  An overwhelming rush of this artificial scent hit the Pathologist.  It was built up in his lungs.  

So my advice is to be careful what you breathe in, and definitely get rid of those scents.
